The most active cemetery i have been to is West Wallsend Cemetery, i have captured amazing photos, EVP and had many personal experiences on my own and with others.
My first visited to this cemetery with my mum about 7 years ago, we both have an interest in history and with our family genealogy.
I remember walking around this cemetery with a feeling of being watched, i thought i was just being a little silly as i had not long watched the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and we were in the middle if the bush… lol.
Mum and i went out there again and still i had this odd feeling (I felt it was 2 men, a father and son that had died many years apart but had been buried next to each other). I made a comment to mum and she also felt quite uneasy but she said that it was because she felt so isolated as we were in the bush.
I heard that there was a ghost tour at this Cemetery with Jon Overholt so i called up and booked 2 spots, one for me and one for Lisa. When i spoke with John to book the tickets i told him about my previous visits to this cemetery and how i felt and who/what my reasons were for these feelings.
John did not make any comments or suggestion to what i had spoken to him about except for asking me what area i had this feeling of these 2 man.
This was my first ghost tour with John Overholt, actually the first time i had meet him. I was so impressed with the way he conducted this evening, not once did he tell any stories about experiences that had happened there, no suggestive thoughts at all and everyone held there own vigils. At the end of the evening we all grouped together and that was when we shared our experiences and John told us of some encounters he had had.
I was so surprised when he said that there was 2 man that did wonder around and when he said the location (same place i said) i was so surprised. There are many spirits at the location that i will tell more at another time.
